I am traveling to the US from Australia and need to know what adapter I need to connect a laptop to the mains power. Thank you 
Most laptops have universal power supplies 100-220V, so your power supply will work just fine. From a travel store at the airport you just need to buy a plastic adaptor that allows an AU plug to fit into a US plug.
